SHENZHEN - OPPO has launched the Watch S2 in China alongside the Find X10 phone series, pitching an 8.9mm stainless steel case, a 1.46-inch AMOLED that can peak near 3,000 nits in outdoor sports modes, and a FatMax workout coach that targets a personalized fat-burning heart-rate zone, according to Gizmochina and China launch coverage dated Sept. 22, 2026.
The Watch S2 starts at 1,599 yuan (about $238), with an introductory price of 1,499 yuan in some China listings. OPPO also added a Titanium Moon color to the existing Watch X3 at 2,799 yuan. Both watches go on sale in China on Sept. 24. No international ship date was confirmed in the launch reports Techtember reviewed.

Hardware stays light. Body weight is listed around 34.4 to 34.5 grams excluding the strap. Colors are Dynamic Orange, Mist Pink, and Mountain Shadow Gray. The strap is a segmented fluoroelastomer design OPPO describes as thinner and more breathable than prior bands. Water resistance is rated 5ATM with IP69 and IP69K dust and water protection.
The display runs a typical 600-nit everyday brightness and climbs toward 3,000 nits when outdoor sports modes need sunlight visibility. Software is ColorOS Watch 17 with Fluid Cloud live updates for transit and deliveries, dual-phone notification pairing, NFC transit cards, and gesture controls.

FatMax is the fitness headline. Instead of generic heart-rate zones, the watch calculates a personal fat-burning target from height, weight, resting heart rate, and VO2 max, then prompts the wearer to stay inside that band during a workout while estimating grams of fat and carbohydrates burned. The watch lists more than 100 sports modes and dual-frequency GPS for outdoor routes.
Health sensors include an eight-channel optical heart-rate array, a 16-channel blood-oxygen sensor, an ECG electrode, and a temperature sensor. A 60-second health check logs 13 metrics in one pass. Sleep tracking, sleep apnea screening, and all-day SpO2 monitoring are included in the launch feature set.

Battery life is estimated at about seven days in standard use, up to 10 days in a saver mode, and about four days with the always-on display enabled. Buyers outside China should wait for regional pricing and software localization rather than treating the China yuan list as a global MSRP.
