CULVER CITY - Beats has opened orders for Beats 360, a new flagship over-ear headphone built around interchangeable ear and headband cushions, Adaptive Noise Cancelling the company says is up to 1.75 times stronger than Beats Studio Pro, and an IPX4 sweat and water resistance rating that is a first for Beats over-ears, according to the official Beats press release dated Sept. 22, 2026.
The headphones list at $349.99 in the United States from apple.com in more than 100 countries and regions. Core colors are Black, Cloud, Pink, and Sky, each shipping with matching Performance Knit cushions. In-store and on-shelf availability begins Sept. 24. Beats Studio Pro stays in the lineup at a new $299.99 price.

Cushion kits are the product differentiator. Performance Knit kits cover Black, Cloud, Pink, Sky, Navy, and Volt. UltraPlush engineered-leather kits ship in Black and Cloud. Standard kit pricing is $49.99. In select markets (including the U.S., Canada, the U.K., France, Australia, South Korea, and China), Beats is running an introductory kit price of $9.99 through Oct. 31, 2026, with a limit of three per customer while supplies last.
Beats says sensors detect whether Performance Knit or UltraPlush cushions are installed and retune acoustics and noise cancellation so the listening profile stays consistent when owners swap materials. The official release frames Performance Knit as the workout-oriented, breathable option and UltraPlush as the all-day comfort choice shared with Studio Pro and Solo 4.

Acoustics use a new driver platform with three-layer diaphragms and dual neodymium magnets per earcup. Features include Adaptive EQ, Transparency mode, Personalized Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking, and Dolby Atmos support on compatible content. Nine MEMS microphones handle noise cancellation and calls. Controls sit on the earcups: volume rocker and play/pause on the right, power and listening-mode on the left.
Battery life is rated up to 32 hours with ANC and Personalized Spatial Audio on, matching the Adaptive EQ figure when ANC and Transparency are off. Transparency mode drops continuous playback to about 24 hours in Apple’s test notes. Fast Fuel claims one hour of listening from a five-minute USB-C charge. There is no wired listening path on Beats 360.

Connectivity spans Apple and Android. Apple users get one-touch pairing, Automatic Switching, Audio Sharing, Find My, and Hey Siri. Android users get Fast Pair, Audio Switch, and Find Hub via the Beats app (Android 15 or later). Bluetooth is Class 1 5.3. The headband does not fold compactly like Studio Pro. Earcups twist flat into a woven ripstop case included in the box.
Oliver Schusser, Apple’s vice president of Music, Sports, and Beats, said in the release that Beats 360 combines the brand’s most advanced acoustic performance with a balanced design and interchangeable cushions that other over-ear headphones do not offer in the same way. Beats also cites 80 percent recycled plastic in multiple components and 100 percent recycled rare earth magnets.
