BEIJING - Redmi put a price on the K100 on Tuesday night, a week after it confirmed the phone’s 10,000mAh battery. The standard model starts at 3,499 yuan with 12GB of memory and 256GB of storage, and Redmi is cutting that to 2,999 yuan for China’s Double 11 shopping season, which runs through Nov. 11, according to the company’s launch announcement, published by C114. Pre-orders opened after the event, and the phone goes on sale at 10 a.m. on Oct. 31.
The two larger versions follow the same pattern. The 12GB and 512GB model lists at 4,099 yuan and drops to 3,499 yuan for the promotion, and the 16GB and 512GB model goes from 4,499 yuan to 3,899 yuan. In regions covered by China’s national device subsidy, the three prices fall further, to 2,549.15, 2,999 and 3,399 yuan, IT Home reported. Redmi has not announced the K100 for any market outside China.

The battery is still the headline. It is the largest Xiaomi has put in a phone, and Redmi says it uses 28 percent silicon-carbon content and a 4.55-volt cathode to reach an energy density of 957Wh/L. The company rates it to keep at least 80 percent of its capacity after 1,600 charge cycles. Its own tests claim more than 34 hours of continuous short-drama video playback, and Xiaomi says 95 percent of its users consume no more than 9,083mAh in a full day. Those are company figures, not independent results.
Charging tops out at 100W by cable, and the phone can charge other devices at 27W over USB-C. In one test Redmi described at launch, the K100 fully charged an iPhone 18 Pro and still had 39 percent of its own battery left.

Inside is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite, which peaks at 4.32GHz, paired with Redmi’s D2 display chip. It is the first time Redmi has put the D2 in a standard K-series phone rather than a Pro model, and the company says it supports frame interpolation to 165 frames per second in more than 100 games, while more than 40 games run natively at 165 frames per second. The 6.83-inch flat display has a 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. Redmi rates it at 850 nits in sunlight mode and 3,500 nits at peak with a quarter of the screen lit.
The rest of the phone is built for long sessions. The main camera is a 50-megapixel sensor measuring 1/1.55 inch with an f/1.68 lens, alongside an 8-megapixel ultrawide and a 20-megapixel front camera, Gadgets 360 reported. Redmi lists IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K ratings for dust and water, stereo speakers tuned with Bose, and HyperOS 4, which Gadgets 360 said is based on Android 17. The phone weighs about 234.5 grams and is 8.65 millimeters thick, according to Gadgets 360.

Redmi used the same event to launch the Clip Neo, its first clip-style open-ear earbuds, at 399 yuan, and a redesigned Redmi Book 2027 laptop line. The K100 joins the K100 Pro and K100 Pro Max, which Redmi introduced in August. iQOO’s fan-cooled Neo12, another gaming phone, launches in China on Wednesday evening.
