Lenovo’s Googlebook 15 specs and renders leaked ahead of Google’s Sept. 15 New York media preview, without a price or on-sale date.

NEW YORK - Full product images and a Lenovo specifications sheet for the company’s Googlebook 15 laptop have circulated after Mac Observer published an exclusive on Sept. 11, giving the clearest hardware picture yet of one partner machine as Google prepares a closed media preview here on Sept. 15 - a press day with expected hands-on access for Acer, ASUS, Dell, HP and Lenovo hardware, not a public consumer launch.
The Lenovo materials identify the notebook as the GB 15IPH12 and list Googlebook OS as the software. On paper the machine is built around a 15.3-inch OLED touch display at 2880 by 1800 pixels, a 16:10 aspect ratio, a 120Hz refresh rate, 500 nits of brightness and 100 percent DCI-P3 coverage. Lenovo pairs that panel with an Intel Core Ultra 5 325 processor - Panther Lake-H in the company’s naming - configurations of 16 or 32 gigabytes of LPDDR5x memory, and 256 or 512 gigabytes of storage. The sheet puts starting weight at 1.29 kilograms, or 2.84 pounds, with dimensions of 341 by 236 by 15.9 millimeters, a Cloud Grey metal chassis, a 70-watt-hour battery rated for up to 11 hours of controlled video playback, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, two Thunderbolt 4 ports, USB-A, HDMI 2.0 and a headphone jack.

Google-specific hardware cues are unusually prominent for a Google-powered notebook. Renders show a dedicated Google “G” key on the bottom row, a multicolor Glowbar strip on the lid that Lenovo says signals battery and charging status, Google facial authentication alongside a fingerprint reader, a 5-megapixel webcam with a physical shutter, quad speakers with Dolby Atmos, and a large haptic trackpad measuring 150 by 95 millimeters. Lenovo’s packet also shows an AI Mouse accessory with the same multicolor accent, plus earbuds and a tote backpack; the documents do not explain what makes the mouse “AI.” Built-in Gemini Intelligence and phone-to-laptop Android sync are listed, with Gemini availability limited to select countries and languages and to users 18 and older, according to the sheet reviewed by Mac Observer and later summarized by 9to5Google and T3.

What the documentation does not include is a retail price or a consumer on-sale date. Google’s Sept. 15 New York gathering is expected to include a leadership keynote and partner demo stations covering Acer, ASUS, Dell, HP and Lenovo hardware; TechTimes and Android Authority have reported that the day is a closed media preview under embargo rules rather than a public hardware announce-and-buy moment. Until Google and Lenovo speak on the record - and until pricing and shipping windows are confirmed - the Googlebook 15 remains a detailed leak of premium laptop ambitions rather than a machine shoppers can order.
