AZUMINO, Japan - VAIO’s T and T work multi-flip PCs move from online orders into Nojima store shelves on Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2026, completing a Japan-only launch that began accepting orders Sept. 18 and promises VAIO online deliveries from Sept. 30, according to VAIO’s Sept. 10 and Sept. 18 releases and a matching Nojima press note.
The machines are triple-style notebooks. A multi-flip hinge switches among notebook mode with a tilt-up keyboard, tablet mode for touch, and view mode for sharing the screen across a desk. VAIO frames the design as linking writing, thinking, and presenting without changing devices. Both consumer VAIO T (VCTNN1) and business VAIO T work (VBTNN1) use a 13.3-inch wide 16:10 WQXGA 2560 by 1600 flash-surface touch display.

Processors are Intel Core Ultra Series 3 H-class parts with Copilot+ PC positioning. Consumer configurations can include Core Ultra X7 358H on a Kachiiro special edition, Core Ultra 7 356H, or Core Ultra 5 325, per VAIO’s product table. Memory reaches up to 64GB LPDDR5X on supported configs, with optional PCIe 5.0 SSD options. JEITA 3.0 battery claims run as high as about 18 hours of video playback and about 29 hours idle on the large pack, depending on configuration.

Colors for the personal VAIO T include Fine Red, Fine Black, and a Kachiiro special edition sold through VAIO’s online store. T work ships in Fine Black. Nojima’s store configuration cites a maker list price from ¥398,000 excluding tax (about ¥437,800 including tax) for a Core Ultra 5 325 Fine Red or Fine Black setup. VAIO is running a ¥33,000 launch discount through Nov. 30, 2026 (through about 9:59 a.m. Dec. 1 for some VAIO online purchases), according to the Sept. 18 order-start notice and Nojima’s price line.

The project started from a Nojima proposal after VAIO joined the Nojima group in 2025, both companies say. Manufacturing remains at VAIO’s Azumino headquarters under the company’s Azumino FINISH quality process. No international release has been announced. Outside Japan, the T series is a Japan-market story until VAIO says otherwise.
