Logitech's Pebble Up Mouse, Which Props Itself Up at a 35-Degree Angle, Goes on Sale in China

The slim wireless mouse lies flat for travel or lifts its shell for a more upright grip. It trades the Pebble Mouse 2's AA battery for a rechargeable cell rated at 90 days and costs about 250 yuan, with no U.S. or U.K. launch announced.

LAUSANNE, Switzerland - Logitech designs its Pebble mice to be thin enough to slip into a bag. The new Pebble Up keeps that idea and adds a second shape. Lift the top shell and the mouse props itself up at a 35-degree angle for a more natural hand position, then fold it back down to carry it. The mouse went on sale in China this week at an effective price of 251.1 yuan, or about $35, on JD.com, IT Home reported on Oct. 24.

Logitech’s China product page describes the two positions as a slim mode and a comfort mode, and pitches the raised shape as more natural and comfortable for long stretches at a desk. There is no independent testing yet of how the raised posture compares with a dedicated vertical mouse.

The bigger practical change is power. The Pebble Mouse 2 M350s ran on a single AA battery. The Pebble Up has a built-in 290mAh lithium battery that charges over USB-C, which Logitech rates at about 90 days per charge and about two hours to charge fully, according to its specification sheet. The battery is not user replaceable, and no charging cable is included in the box.

The rest is a familiar Logitech package. The mouse measures 105.8 by 59.6 by 30 millimeters and weighs about 79 grams. It connects over Bluetooth Low Energy or a Logi Bolt USB receiver that stores inside the mouse, and an Easy-Switch host button moves it between up to three paired devices. Tracking runs from 400 to 4,000 DPI, adjustable with a dedicated DPI button. In the Logi Options+ app on Windows and macOS, users can remap buttons, add gestures and, Logitech says, call up AI tools from a built-in launcher. On iPadOS, ChromeOS, Linux and Android the mouse works without that customization.

The shell uses certified post-consumer recycled plastic, 56 percent in Graphite and 43 percent in the Off-White and Rose finishes. For now the Pebble Up is a China product. Logitech’s specification sheet lists retail boxes only for mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, and the company has not announced a price or release date for the United States or Britain.
