Honor Sets Win 2 at 5,499 Yuan After Subsidy Ahead of Its Oct. 21 China Launch

Global CMO Guan Haitao posted the 12GB/512GB take-home price for the dual-fan Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 gaming phone, with pre-orders already open.

SHENZHEN, China - Honor disclosed the Win 2’s headline China price on Oct. 15, six days before the phone’s Oct. 21 launch event. Global chief marketing officer Guan Haitao said the 12GB RAM and 512GB storage model will cost 5,499 yuan after the national subsidy. Huawei Central reported his fuller ladder: an industry reference as low as 6,499 yuan, Honor’s own figure at 6,299 yuan, a limited-time cut to 5,999 yuan, and 5,499 yuan after subsidy for that 12GB/512GB configuration. Sale time is set for Oct. 21 at 2:30 p.m. China Standard Time.

The Win 2 is Honor’s next gaming flagship after last year’s Win. Confirmed or widely reported specs include Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, dual active cooling fans, a 2K display at 185Hz and a 10,100mAh battery with 100W wired charging. Gizmochina’s price post also lists 80W wireless charging in the marketing mix. Pre-orders are open on Honor’s China store with a 100 yuan deposit, according to Notebookcheck, alongside sibling models Win RT 2 and Win Turbo 2.

Colors listed for the Win 2 are Quick Black, Designated Win and Red/Blue Buff. Memory and storage options on the store run from 12GB/256GB through 16GB/1TB. Honor has not published the full price grid for every SKU, only the subsidized 12GB/512GB figure Guan highlighted.

A Geekbench listing reported by Gizmochina showed a Win 2 (model BRM-AN00) on Android 17 with about 16GB of RAM visible to the benchmark. Camera leaks pointed to a 200-megapixel Samsung main sensor, a 13-megapixel ultrawide and a 50-megapixel front camera. Those camera details remain unofficial until the Oct. 21 stage.

The Win line has stayed China-only so far, and Honor has not confirmed a global Win 2. At 5,499 yuan after subsidy for 12GB/512GB, the phone undercuts many peers on the same Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 generation, including RedMagic’s 12 Pro+ China ladder that starts higher before subsidy. The full spec sheet and remaining prices land with the Oct. 21 carnival event.
