KAWASAKI, Japan - Fujitsu Client Computing has turned its ultralight FMV Zero laptop into a piece of movie merchandise. The FMV Zero Godzilla Edition, model WU3G-L3, is a 14-inch notebook made in collaboration with Godzilla Minus Zero, the next film in Toho’s long-running monster series, the company said in a press release. Orders opened on Oct. 22 through Fujitsu’s FMV Store in Japan, with deliveries from late November.

The theme goes well past a sticker. The black lid carries a Godzilla illustration printed in black ink, the touchpad is patterned with the creature’s dorsal fins, and the Enter key carries a “G-0.0” logo. Switching the Windows theme to “Godzilla” turns the mouse pointer into a trail of footprints and rotates three exclusive wallpapers. A special nameplate sticker sits on the underside, and the bundled 65-watt USB-C charger is printed with Godzilla too. Fujitsu will also sell that charger on its own from late November.

Underneath, it is Fujitsu’s standard FMV Zero, which the company pitches on weight and toughness. The magnesium-covered machine weighs about 886 grams, or just under two pounds, and meets the U.S. military’s MIL-STD-810H durability standard. Buyers choose between AMD’s Ryzen AI 7 445 and Ryzen AI 5 430, both with Radeon 840M graphics and a neural processor rated at up to 50 trillion operations per second, enough to qualify as a Copilot+ PC. Memory comes in 16GB or 32GB of LPDDR5X-8000, and storage runs from 256GB to 2TB.

The rest of the specification sheet is practical. HotHardware listed Wi-Fi 7, USB4, HDMI, USB-A and wired Ethernet, and a 63-watt-hour battery that Fujitsu rates for up to 17.5 hours of video playback. The base model, with the Ryzen AI 5, 16GB of memory and a 256GB drive, costs ¥265,100, or roughly $1,700, and the top configuration reaches ¥339,900, HardwareBrief reported.

The laptop is timed to the film. Godzilla Minus Zero, written and directed by Takashi Yamazaki, opens in Japan on Nov. 3, the same day Fujitsu plans to show the machine at Toho’s Godzilla Fest 2026 at Takanawa Gateway City in Tokyo. Fujitsu has announced sales only through its Japanese store and has said nothing about other markets.
