There are three configurations. The Base has 12GB of memory and 128GB of storage, the Pro has 12GB and 256GB for $479 at launch (normally $499), and the Max has 16GB and 512GB for $549 (normally $579), according to Ayn’s launch slide. The Base comes only in black, Notebookcheck reported. The company confirmed the date on its Discord server, Android Authority said, and noted that the promotional price is only $30 more than the standard Odin 3.
The screen is the main change. The panel is a 1920 by 1080 OLED running at 120Hz, and Ayn lists a 100,000 to 1 contrast ratio and 155 percent coverage of the sRGB color space. Inside is Qualcomm’s Dragonwing Q8, which Notebookcheck described as an IoT version of the Snapdragon 8 Elite, the same chip family used in the Odin 3.

The rest of the specification sheet is aimed at long sessions. A 9,000mAh battery charges at up to 60 watts, and an active cooling fan sits behind the grips. Storage is UFS 3.1 with a microSD slot, and the handheld has Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, a headphone jack and a USB-C port that can drive a 4K display at 60 frames per second. Ayn’s store page lists Hall-effect sticks, a weight of 450 grams and a one-year warranty. It ships with Android 15 and no games preinstalled.

The Portal enters a crowded field of Android handhelds that includes the Arc X1, but few rivals offer an OLED screen this size at the price. Those figures are Ayn’s own; independent battery and thermal testing will have to wait until units reach buyers in November.
